Epinions Motorola H500 Bluetooth Headset

by  shellyfc,  Aug 7, 2008
Pros: small and light love the color choices
Cons: ear piece does not feel right feels loose
Review: This is the first Bluetooth I have used. It has great range and it has also been great being "free" from the wiring of a headset. So far I have not used all the features but am happy with the basics I have learned to use. It does feel a little loose ...

Epinions A good product

by  opinion100,  Mar 17, 2007
Pros: light weight, versatile, voice recognition, and holds a charge.
Cons: voice recognition only works about eighty five percent of the time.
Review: My husband recently purchased this headset for me. California is to be introducing a new law soon that will make it illegal to talk on a cell phone while driving unless you are using some sort of hands free device. I have tried a number of such devices ...

Epinions Great when it works, frustrating when it doesn't

by  dandino,  Dec 27, 2006
Pros: Clarity, lightweight
Cons: Frustrating controls, battery level? makes calls on its own
The Bottom Line: Bluetooth headsets are very convenient, but this one is entry level has too many design flaws to be viable. Upgrade to a better one.
Review: My wife and I upgraded to LG VX8300’s (review available), which are Bluetooth compatible. My wife had wanted the trendy Bluetooth headsets for a while, so we got one for her. After less than a week, she hated it so much she gave it to me. It’s a nice ...

Epinions Great headset to use in a SILENT room

by  slick-smiley,  May 9, 2006
Pros: Works great in a silent vehicle.
Cons: Price. Noise around you will render the voice abilities moot. Constantly have to adjust angle.
The Bottom Line: Recommended to anyone that drives a quiet car, uses the phone for short calls and doesn't drive a diesel or have kids - otherwise pass.
Review: I just recently had a trip from Washington to California come up, that I knew I was going to have to take alone and long duration drives are something, like most people, I need to be actively talking and keeping active in order to keep awake. I found ...

Epinions Hello Hello Hello

by  hankshay,  Aug 9, 2006
Pros: Adequate pickup on Mic. Looks cool and comfortable.
Cons: Low volume on earpiece
The Bottom Line: Overall a good headset thats perfect for someone with uncanny hearing and robotic dexterity. It also works pretty decently for us that aren't so blessed.
Review: The title says it all. The volume on this unit is abysmal even at max. I impute the low volume on the loose ear fitting design; the unit barely floats over the ear and sometimes flops around hoping to jump off on the next jolt. Other than the ...

Epinions It's Like Singing In The Car

by  ejbagnaschi,  Jul 19, 2006
Pros: Light and stylish. You can hear perfect, fits the ear well
Cons: Can you say, "Please don't die before I'm done talking?" There's no low battery warning.
Review: WOW! This is what I have wanted for a really long time. It's so dangerous driving with a cellphone to your ear! Especially when you must dial someone, and you you have to find a safe place to pull over and talk! And that's what I hated doing. ...

Epinions So So one

by  pwp333,  Apr 5, 2007

Epinions Great bluetooth, poor over the ear strap

by  pjwms,  May 18, 2008
Pros: Great hearing ability and use
Cons: Poorly constructed "over the ear" strap.
Review: This is a great small Motorola Bluetooth H500 with ease of use once you get familiar with the buttons. However, the over the ear piece that pivots at the bluetooth connector is fragile and cracks easily. You CAN NOT find a replacement piece for it. My ...

Epinions Ok, but not great

by  sarahecb,  Sep 10, 2006
Pros: Size, comfort
Cons: Echoes
Review: Both my husband and I have this headset to use with our LGVX9800 phones through Verizon Wireless. We've never had the echo before, so it's not the phone, and it's not the network. Needless to say, only 1 person can use it during a conversation, or we'd ...

Epinions Just okay

by  jthaler,  Jan 7, 2008
Pros: sound quality
Cons: comfort and fit
Review: I've had this bluetoooth headset for some time now and still not comfortable with the way it fits on the ear. It appears to wobble around the ear and leaves me with the feeling that it is going to fall off at any time. I wear eyeglasses and the fit is ...
