Epinions The New and Improved DS

by  boringmonkey23,  Jan 27, 2008
Pros: lighter, nicer looking, and thinner than the old DS, has more settings, great graphics
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: You should buy this if your bored or you want to play it with friends!
Review: The Nintendo DS Lite is so much nicer than the original Nintendo DS. It is a lot lighter and thinner. It also is sleeker and has a nice design. Plus now you can set how bright you want it to be. Hence the name DS Lite. It is available in multiple ...

Epinions :)

by  aquakitty,  Feb 1, 2008
Pros: small, graphics and sound quality, battery life
Cons: none!
The Bottom Line: Worth the money. Great time killer.
Review: This is the first hand held system I have had since a black and white Game boy years ago, so I don't have much to compare it to. However, this thing is awesome, seriously. Its small and its games are small (but being able to use the Game Boy ...

Epinions Nintendo DS Makeover

by  logic_seed,  Sep 21, 2006
Pros: Too many improvements to list, same price as its predecessor, what more can one want?
Cons: Takes better finger prints than a CSI, no thumbstrap.
The Bottom Line: Definitely get one, two or more if you can. All these improvements for the same price as its predecessor and nearly half the price of Sony's PSP.
Review: Originally I had purchased the original DS because I wanted a handheld gaming unit that could play Metroid Prime Hunters and didn't cost $250 (Sony PSP). I bought it, even though I saw the DS Lite being advertised on the horizon. I couldn't wait ...

Epinions Nintendo's DS Lite has stolen my heart :)

by  carlapatterson,  Mar 19, 2008
Pros: Portable, well-designed, easy and fun to use, tons of available games, wi-fi capability, extended playtime.
Cons: Some games are a bit cutesy but there are tons more which aren't.
The Bottom Line: I recommend the DS Lite to anyone who likes gaming, old or young, any level of experience. I love it. :)
Review: I have always loved video games and used to spend long hours (though they certainly didn't FEEL long! :) first in video arcades and then in front of my TV hooked up to a Sega Genesis setup. I realized I had played one too many video games, though, when ...

Epinions DS-The Portable Game System for All Ages

by  stharper,  Feb 24, 2008
Pros: Lots of games, very portable, lots of available accessory items, appeals to all ages
Cons: I have none-this system is worthwhile to own
The Bottom Line: Great Game System-you won't regret buying it.
Review: Well I am an old school gamer who never met a game system I did not like in some way. Love the Wii-who doesn't? But Nintendo has another real winner in the DS. The DS was not an item that I would have normally wanted that is until I saw the DS with the ...

Cons: None!
The Bottom Line: I recommend this versatile gaming system for all ages.

Epinions Strong Gaming System

by  coconutt,  Jun 28, 2006
Pros: Beautiful Screens and exterior. Lightweight. Wi-Fi.
Cons: Color choice for now (only white), no upgradeable memory.
The Bottom Line: It's a great redesign and a great gaming system. Think about upgrading.
Review: I've used an older DS, and there's a huge difference. Screen clarity and brightness is vastly improved, as is the weight and size. The brighter screens are great for bright outdoor daylight, but you can dim it for darker conditions. It comes in at 21% ...

Epinions A Gem of a System

by  istari,  Aug 11, 2006
Pros: Stylish, portable, durable, great games, and excellent for any audience.
Cons: Some systems have had dead pixels. Nintendo offers an easy replacement plan though!
The Bottom Line: Incredible system. Affordable, fun, and stylish. A must own for anybody looking for fun on the go.
Review: This affordable, stylish, and fun system is equally appealing to the dedicated and casual gamer. I've played games the majority of my life and as a college student the time I have to play seems less and less. The DS Light is incredibly portable, easy to ...

Review: My kids (aged 8 and 12) had been asking for a Nintendo for quite a while before I relented and let Santa bring them each one last Christmas. I should have done it sooner! My concerns were mainly that it would curtail physical activity (we are in the ...
