Epinions A Name-Brand Bargain in Camera Memory

by  pvreditor,  Feb 28, 2008
Pros: Inexpensive; small but not too small; reliable; popular format
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: This SD card is both cheap and roomy, and it will work great in any point-and-shoot digital camera. It should also be fine for MP3 players and other devices.
Review: I have a 10 megapixel digital camera and have it set to take pictures at maximum quality, which results in picture files that are typically 3-4 MB each. I take a LOT of pictures, too. In addition, I often shoot video clips with my digital camera, as it ...

The Bottom Line: Great large-capacity SD media card, reliable and thus recommended, although it is sluggish in transferring files, it is a fair trade of speed for capacity
Review: NOTE: Not all devices will support the SanDisk 2GB SD card (most if not all new/recent electronics that use SD media will), so be sure if you are looking to use this in an older piece of technology that it is compatible first In order to make ...

Epinions Decent Speed

by  nad_masters, top reviewer in Computer Hardware ,  Feb 3, 2008
Pros: Decent write speeds, inexpensive compared to their Extreme III line of flash cards
Cons: Somewhat slow read speeds, just okay write speeds
The Bottom Line: Sometimes fast cards aren't what you need, so why not save the extra cash?
Review: With SD cards being a universal storage medium in digital cameras as well as other small gadgets, it's no wonder why they are getting cheaper, getting larger, as well as getting quicker. Even non-speedy cards are getting faster. This SanDisk 2 GB SD ...
